Great kayaking place. Professional and knowledgeable instructors that takes safety seriously and same time have a great senc of humor. New gear and most important - amazing view while you paddling between green islands.

Happy to help staffs, always wiling to provide information for visitors’ maximum fun. It has many different sports activities are available to enjoy. Among them best one is Kayaks or guided kayak tours. A lot of islands are around the area so you can visit multiple islands while you are on the sea couple of islands. Recreational islands are nearby and their information is also available from Natura Viva’s website where you can plan a 12 hours stay to grill or overnight stay.

Across the bay someone owns a sea plane. What are we supposed to do on our way back when the sea plane is taking off? Get killed or pay 20 for being seven minutes late? The attendant was trying to say twelve minutes but my phone updates time from the network. Anyway better pay the 20 than get killed.

Myself and 3 friends took a 4 day trip to the Lake Saimaa area of Finland with Natura Viva. They are a business run from a superb modern paddling centre by Martti, his wife Paula and son Ilkka. All are extremely friendly and knowledgeable with impeccable spoken English. Martti in particular dealt with us and we were in e-mail communication for over 8 months - all queries were dealt with promptly and completely and it is clear he has a real passion for kayaking. From planning our route to suggesting and supplying equipment, all of which was top quality, as well as the 16 hour round trip to drop and collect us twice everything was handled perfectly. Lake Saimaa is massive, stunningly beautiful and although were were there in the height of the summer season we saw only a handful of other people through our 80k route. It amazes me that so few people go to experience its tranquility - it's a real natural wonder. I can't recommend it highly enough and the only place you need to call is Natura Viva.
